What in the world is Bethesda teasing?

Bethesda’s all done with Skyrim, so it’s time for them to move on to new things. The problem is we have no idea what those things might be. the company’s teased us with a new little video showing…well, not much. What could it be?

Here’s the teaser, which was posted on Bethesda’s Vine account. On an unrelated note, I hate Vine, and I think it’s stupid. I digress though – have a look.

Barbed wire, and what appears to be a spinning record; Johann Sebastian Bach’s Air on the G String.

There are currently two leading theories; one is that it’s a teaser for a new Wolfenstein game, which is already rumoured to be in development by ZeniMax Sweden, founded by former Starbreeze developers as “MachineGames.”  The other is that it’s possibly for the new Bethesda-backed Shinji Mikami game, Project Zwei – a new, pure survival horror from the guy who created Resident Evil.

What it probably isn’t though, is Fallout 4. According to Bethesda’s Pete Hines, it’s got nothing to do with that particular post-apocalyptic game.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
