Worms

We told you what PlayStation owners would be getting in December, and now we look at December’s Games for Gold. While they’re not straight up terrible games, the list of free titles for subscribers next month is a little…underwhelming – especially when sat next to The PlayStation Plus Instant Game collection for December. Loyal Microsoft adherents will be getting Worms.

No, not the sort you get from eating uncooked pork – but rather those militant sort who like to kill things. Xbox One owners will be getting the latest version of the same game that Team 17 has been making and remaking for decades, Worms: Battlegrounds. Unlike having a belly full of parasites, Worms Battlegrounds is a heck of a lot of fun – especially with friends.

Xbox 360 owners will be getting two games; from December 1 to December 15, they’ll be bale to grab episodic adventure The Raven. After that, the adventure continues with EA’s SSX reboot, which will be available to download for the rest of the month. The big difference between the IGC and Games for Gold, of course, is that gamers get to keep the games from Microsoft even after their subscriptions have lapsed. The other big difference, is that Games for Gold is rubbish. At least next month, anyway.

The best in the worms series was the 2 stage demo for the first worms.

The song? Yeah, not too bad

The poem? A bit over the top for me, seems to drag on, but generally quite good too.

Why the hate towards Worms? There’s far more thrills and hours to be had from Worms than Injustice.
