A brand new Battlefield is being unveiled soon. To celebrate, EA are giving away DLC to the past two titles, Battlefield 4 and Hardline, for free over the next few months.

South Africa's Battlefield 4 Nations Cup champions are back for a shot at the title in 2016. The Southern Barbarians are a community selected Battlefield 4 teams comprised of the best in the country and in February they will once again battle odd hours and high latencies with the hopes of conquering Europe once again.

Battlefield Hardline may be the most recent shooter from EA, but its predecessor, Battlefield 4, still gets a ton of love from both developer and community alike. Just a few weeks ago for example, the Community Operations DLC launched, and surprisingly (keeping in mind that this is EA we are talking about) it didn’t cost a cent. That trend is set to continue this holiday season it seems, because there is even more free content on the way.

The Community Operations DLC, an update put together by both Dice and the community, is out today. It includes a new map, and a plethora of general changes to Battlefield 4.
