People Can Fly is the Polish studio behind Painkiller (remember that? Impaling baddies with stakes was a blast!) and the sweary, skilly-killy Bulletstorm. At last year’s E3 they teased their new game Outriders, but now they’ve shown off more of the game through a more extended trailer.

Eight years is a hell of a stretch for any game to still be so fondly remembered, and while Bulletstorm has lived on in remasters since then, it looks like a sequel is nowhere to be found. People Can Fly CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski reckons that the studio’s beloved IP might get a follow-up eventually though.

It looks like November’s going to be far more interesting, with PlayStation’s own Plus portal letting the information out a little early. Players in November will get the remastered of last gen’s Bulletstorm, called the Full Clip Edition. The other big game is the remaster of the first Yakuza game, Kiwami.

Developer People Can Fly’s shooter sold alright after launch, with a steady trickle of sales eventually culminating in a current-gen upgrade for the Xbox One and PS4. That version of Bulletstorm actually did better than expected, with the studio now having some ideas for a sequel that they can move on with…one day.
