Capcom may have about as much interest in reviving Mega Man as government has for being held accountible for its more covertly corrupt actions, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t make a Mega Man. All you need is several years coding experience, a dedicated team and a character who skirts the line of homage and blatant intellectual property theft to see it through to the end. Bundle that with a Kickstarter that succeeds where the actual product fails on multiple levels, and you’ve got an homage to the past that’s mighty…crap. Alternatively, there’s Mega Maker.

While I’ve never been able to get in to Monster Hunter games, they’re wildly popular – so a new game in the series is always something worth celebrating. And boy, is there cause for Celebration. Monster Hunter World is coming to PlayStation 4 in 2018.

Take it with a massive pinch of salt, as the roster for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite has leaked and there’s not a single trace of the X-gene inside of it.

The Resident Evil films may have finally pulled off their biggest scare and shock as it was reveal we will be getting a full 6 films reboot of the series.

Capcom revealed that the horror game had sold a respectable 3.5 million copies by the end of the company’s fiscal 2016. The company hopes that it’ll manage to sell through 10 million copies eventually.

I’ve joked plenty about previous Marvel Vs. Capcom games being the ultimate in winning a match by headbutting your controller until a desired effect is achieved. That’s completely true…and kind of sad. When you examine the mechanics of a fighting game, they’re the absolute best at sucking you into their rhythm. That moment where you find serenity at the end of your fist and on the face of your opponent? Brilliant stuff. If you know what you’re doing that is. With Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite, Capcom wants the playing field even for anyone, new or old.
