Castlevania's fourth and final season just debuted two months ago, but Netflix has already announced the next chapter of the franchise, following the descendant of Simon Belmont in the French Revolution.

Confirmed in a new teaser, the current saga of Belmont V Vampires: Dawn of the Jugular will come to an end next month when the famed vampire-hunter, Dracula’s son Alucard and wizard Sypha collide with Carmilla’s army of the dead and her ambition to turn all of Europe into a feeding ground for her night-stalker brood.

It’s the end of an era later this year, when Sony sunsets its PlayStation 3, PSP, and PS Vita digital storefronts. Those banana stands have seen an influx of activity lately, with many players seeking to download as many of the rare and platform-exclusive games before the chance to do so is taken away from them.

Developer Art/Play announced a sequel to their Castlevania tribute last night, which will have more whips, action and epic scope to marvel at.
