After all, what better way is there to remember Dante than as a sword-wielding warrior with a pistol in each hand? If you’re looking to do just that with a shrine to the legend, then good news! Pop culture statue purveyor Prime 1 will be rolling out a Dante statue to go with the recently revealed Nero in their Devil May Cry collection, based on his appearance in DMC V.

There’s plenty of fantastic acting inside of Devil May Cry 5, a game that is already cementing itself as one of my personal highlights not only of the year but of this gaming generation.

There’s an entire camper van’s worth of tools to use throughout the adventure, and nailing that fine balance of evasion, attack and variety is the spice of life in Devil May Cry 5. Basically, if your fingers are fast enough and you can nail the timing perfectly, the amount of style that you can rack up in a single area is nothing short of astounding.

With just a week to go, Devil May Cry 5 has one final trailer up its sleeve to set the mood. Although you might want to avoid this one, because of a huge spoiler that happens to be inside of it.

There’s a great story to be told across the Devil May Cry games, but the actual timeline doesn’t match up very coherently between games. One of the biggest plot holes in the chronology? The abysmal Devil May Cry 2, which kind of doesn’t make sense in the big picture of the franchise.

As Shania Twain once sang, that don’t impress me much. Show me a collector’s edition that is bonkers! Give me a special edition of a game that is stupidly expensive and only for the richest bastards on the planet! Show me something like this, Devil May Cry V’s Ultra Limited Edition whch comes with the game, some box art and a freakin’ replica of some of the clothing worn in the game

So what makes Dante different when compared to Nero’s rough and tough combat style in Devil May Cry 5? While Nero may be a perfect entry-point for newcomers whose more limited move-set hides a surprising amount of depth in the finer details of how he moves, Dante is tailor-made for the experienced devil slayer.

Oh Capcom, you were doing so well. Then you went and mentioned the dreaded M-word in your upcoming demon-slaying action title of which I’ve already pledged my love to, Devil May Cry 5. Yup, Devil May Cry 5 will be rocking both style and microtransactions next year, as the latest chapter in the series is focusing more on the classic Red Orbs in-game currency than ever before.
