Nine times out of ten, Destiny 2 pretty much works ten out of ten times. Bungie’s space-sandbox was remarkably stable upon launch, even with its servers being hammered by the full force of over a million players at one time. That doesn’t mean that some problems haven’t slipped through. In fact, you might have been on the receiving end of a few new members of the Destiny 2 animal error hierarchy. If you got any of the following errors, here’s what Bungie has to offer in terms of fixes.

Destiny 2 has been out for nearly a week now, which means its first raid is geared and ready to launch tomorrow. Are you strong enough to enter it though?

Before Xur gets here, you’re going to need some cold hard currency with which to trade. You’re going to need some Legendary Shards. Normally obtainable from the dismantling of Legendary and Exotic-class weapons and armour, this new currency is in short supply. Unless you know a handy trick or two.

Whatever you think of Destiny 2, one word rings true as an apt descriptor for it’s content: Substantial. Having clearly learnt a lesson from Destiny 1, Destiny 2 always feels busy. There’s a constant grind, albeit an enjoyable one in which players are earning new gear across a wide variety of activities inside of the sequel. Said activities will most likely increase even further, once Destiny 2’s first slice of DLC pops up.

Some guns define your Guardian. If you’re the Swiss Army Knife of your group, maybe the MIDA Multi-tool is your weapon of choice. Maybe you’re a master of thinning the herd, as you swap between Sturm and Drang to cause maximum damage without ever needing to reload. Because I’m a sneaky bugger who values running away more than sticking around for a fight, I’ve found a gun that describes my Guardian perfectly: The Rat King.

If you were ever in the market for a Jack of all trades gun in Destiny 1, then the MIDA Multi-Tool was a gift from the heavens. A scout rifle that was capable of tremendous damage in the right hands, ol’ MIDA was a mainstay in PVP and a reliable backup in PVE scenarios.
