Netflix believes they know enough to know what you want to have downloaded before you realise you need it to be.

For now, I’ll stick to the Xbox Series X as the PS5 has an incredibly aggravating setup when it comes to downloading games. People who got their consoles last week have all reported numerous times when the PS5 downloaded the PS4 version of a game instead of the shinier next-gen version, even when they’d specifically selected the upgrade.

Fortunately, video games are more than capable of scratching an itch to keep your mind occupied. Double-unfortunately, you’re going to need to find something else to do while said game downloads, because Sony is looking to preserve Europe’s Internet system by slowing down the rate at which the latest titles are downloaded.

If you build it, they will come. If you build it properly, release it out of nowhere and you make it free, then buddy you better prepare yourself for a blitzkrieg of interest. Respawn Entertainment took a hell of a gamble with Apex Legends, releasing a fully playable battle royale experience without any warning prior to some leaks from influencers that had made the trek over to try the game out ahead of time. Point is, is that Respawn has done well this week.

Despite only offering a streaming solution for years now, PlayStation Now will start rolling out the ability for users to download PS4 and PS2 games directly to improve the playing experience.
