While lightsaber technology still remains massively out of reach in this lifetime, video games have more than managed to satiate that hunger for laser sword action over the last couple of years. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the name of the game and it’ll officially be revealed tomorrow at the annual Star Wars Celebration. So what’s it about? Respawn has kept details locked up tighter than the Coca Cola recipe (They’re STILL using cocaine?), but according to one anonymous source on reddit who claims to be a dev on Fallen Order, you can expect Fallen Order to take a…different approach as to what most games in the series have done so far.

Mortal Kombat 11 is scaling down, with a character who looks like the bastard child of Gollum and Goro. Say hello, to the Kollector.

There’s a certain sense of bloodlust in the air. It’s often been said that you can’t build a better mouse trap, but year after year NetherRealm Studios manages to prove the old adage wrong.

Days Gone may smack of your typical sandbox. Massive, open and probably filled to the nines with all manner of diversions, developer Sony Bend’s upcoming romp in the Freaker apocalypse needs something to set itself apart from the pack. Needing to be more than just a love letter to the horror genre that spawned it, the studio is banking on their particular sandbox being deadly, unforgiving and completely random.

2017’s Wolfenstein: The New Colossus was a fab return for BJ Blazkowicz with some neat twists of its own, keeping the chunky gunplay intact and giving players a surprisingly tender hero caught in an unwinnable war. It’s a couple of years later, BJ’s family has grown and he’s ready to pass on the torch to the next generation of resistance fighters. A battle that will continue in Wolfenstein: Youngblood on July 26.

Seriously though, this looks great, I want those other three games.

Mortal Kombat the movie would have been poorer without actor Cary-HiroyukiTagawa’s presence as Shang Tsung, and now the next Mortal Kombat game is preparing to enrich itself with his addition to the roster.
