The upcoming Bloodshot was supposed to be the start of a new comic book cinematic universe focusing on Valiant Comics characters, but now with other titles changing homes to Paramount, it looks like the VCU has hit a major bump in the road.

Consistently entertaining and written in a manner that allows each new story arc to be the perfect point of entry for newcomers, Valiant’s line of super-spy ninjas, immortal warriors and rebellious psychokinetic teens are just begging for an adaptation in other forms of media. Well buckle up buckaroos, because the Valiant universe is about to expand into the big time.

If there’s one thing that war is good for y’all, it’s to create a comic book event with actual ramifications that are felt long after a ceasefire has been enacted.
