BlizzCon is just around the corner, and with it comes the World Championships. Blizzard are going all out for their conference this year, offering up over a million dollars in prize money split up across four of their competitive games. Interested in following all the action? Halloween is just around the corner, and with it comes the Hallow's End Event to Heroes of the Storm. Blizzard are unleasing a new mount, skin, bonus xp, a portrait, and two bundles into the Nexus!

Blizzcon isn’t just an excuse for Blizzard to show off all of their wares, it also conveniently doubles as a platform for them to round up top talent from around the world for some eSports shenanigans. This year’s conference will be no different. The best of the best will be gathering at the Anaheim Convention Center to fight for their share of the $500,000 prizepool.

The Heroes of the Storm roster is getting a whack of StarCraft II loving lately thanks to the imminent release of Legacy of the Void. Fans of Blizzard’s MOBA have already received Lieutenant Morales – a Terran medic, and now, they’re about to get somebody a little more… offensive. Just this morning, the Spear of Adun pulled up to the Nexus, and dropped off none other than the Protoss protagonist, Artanis.

Cloud9 continue their dominance in North America ahead of the Heroes of the Storm World Championships at Blizzcon in just under two weeks.

In a little under a a months’ time, on the 6th and 7th of November, Blizzard will kick off their annual conference. That’s right, BlizzCon is just around the corner, and as usual, it’ll be packed with all sorts of panels and news surrounding the gaming company’s various popular franchises. If you have any sort of interest in the likes of World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch, it’s the event to really pay attention to.

At least one competition was done right. Heroes of the Storm's Grand Final was a fantastic showcase between South Africa's best two teams. Bravado Gaming took out Energy eSports to be crowned champions of South Africa's very first Heroes of the Storm Tournament.

Thanks to the looming Legacy of the Void release, Heroes of the Storm is getting some much needed StarCraft II loving. Two characters from the RTS franchise, Lieutenant Morales and Artanis, will be joining the MOBA roster. The Terran medic will be available from today as a matter of fact, while Artanis will only be wondering into the Nexus much later, on October the 27th to be exact.
