Guerrilla Games may be known as the house of Killzone, but it looks like Horizon: Zero Dawn is going to give them a new property to be remembered by. At Paris Games Week, new gameplay for their upcoming post-robopcalypse sandbox was shown off, with lead character Aloy on the hunt.
Horizon: Zero Dawn lets you face off against a T-Rex robot armed with mortars and lasers. Need I say more?
You think of studio Guerrilla Games, and you’ll immediately think about the developer that is responsible for the Killzone series, especially the woefully underrated Killzone Shadow Fall. Damn good launch game that. The next game for the Guerrillas in the mist however, is something different. Sort of.
Horizon Zero Dawn also has a great protagonist in the form of Aloy, a survivor who is capable of toppling mechanical giants with her bow and several arrows. And in that harsh new world, Aloy rocks a distinctive look. A look that is just asking to be cosplayed. And Guerrilla Games wants to oblige.
Horizon: Zero Dawn looks like it will be the next PS4 exclusive to push the hardware to its early limits.
