Platinum Games would release all their titles on PC if they could

I hear computers are popular these days, especially if you’re looking to play a game or two on them. Compared to console, there’s one hell of an untapped market out there for several developers who find their best efforts relegated to Sony and Microsoft-branded machines. One such developer who would kill for the thrill to bring their entire library across? Platinum Games, the studio that made a name for itself by redefining the action genre over the last decade. One of their finest products ever, Bayonetta, finally hit the PC platform yesterday. Presumably to the tune of a million fans demanding to know when Vanquish would arrive on their digital shores.

SEGA’s not sure it’s going to release any more mature titles on the Wii

This one comes as no surprise to me but that doesn’t mean I agree with it. Constantine Hantzopoulos is a studio director over at SEGA and was recently on the 1UP podcast. Basically he has confirmed that while Madworld, Conduit and House of the Dead: Overkill all became profitable on the Wii the sales and reception of these games was …

Zero Punctuation: MadWorld

MadWorld unfortunately didn’t set the world on fire when it was released a little while back and it is now come time for Yahtzee to explain why it didn’t. Well to be honest I think it didn’t do that well as the market for M rated games on the Wii is just a little small and Yahtzee’s reasons are more …

Severed limbs dumped all over London

By Gavin Mannion

It’s not often that I feel any longing to return to London, my two years of grey skies and shoebox living was more than enough for me. However I would love to be there to see this. SEGA have decided that the most logical way to promote their hugely brutal MadWorld title would be to scatter some fake arms all …

Madworld: First Review

I am happy to admit that it appears I was completely wrong. I stated a little while back that Madworld is most probably going to be a huge flop as it became obvious that the violence and gore were not quite what we were originally expecting. However the developers have found a sweet spot and according to the first review …

Madworld, the upcoming tricolour gore-fest has been confirmed to run at only 480i, and not the more HD-TV friendly progressive scan 480p. The confirmation comes courtesy of Matt Casamassina’s blog on IGN, who defended Madworld developers Platinum games saying – “Usually, lack of 480p support can be credited to developer laziness. No way such a claim can be leveled at …

Madworld Has Co-op – Can this game get any better?

By Gavin Mannion

One of the latest Madworld trailers has quite the little surprise in it. Apparently we are going to be able to engage in some multiplayer co-op action in the black and white gore fest that is Madworld. I am still not convinced by Madworld but the more I see of it the more interesting it looks and the more excited …

It’s Friday finally which also means that we all have to sit through another day at the office pretending to work. So to help get you into the swing of things here is a completely over the top Madworld trailer, can you also picture your bosses head on those black and white action figures? Nice thought isn’t it… Last Updated: …
