Highly regarded scooper Roger Wardell has been dropping tips about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including plans for Disney's recently reacquired Fantastic Four and X-Men properties.

Marvel has now acquired the publishing rights to the Alien and Predator franchises, keeping the comic books in-house and drawing up new plans for the movie franchises on the printed page.

Spider-Man 2099, a comic book that convinced me that the year 3000 was only 365 days away because I couldn’t do maths, featured a costume that was simply way ahead of its time. Worn by that era’s webslinger, the costume was sleek, haunting and downright cool. It’s getting a whole lot of love soon, via the Hot Toys sixth scale figure treatment, and I’m starting to think that my Batman figures need to make some space.

As Marvel games go, Iron Man VR doesn’t quite hit the high mark set by the superlative Spider-Man, but it’s an often engaging and exhilarating experience to step into shellhead’s signature armour. Long load times, overused padding and poor writing mar what would otherwise be the ultimate Iron Man adventure.

Just because Marvel's shifting some of its stories to the small-screen with Disney+ doesn't mean they're dropping the high blockbuster movie styled production values for these event series.

Square Enix has officially confirmed that Marvel’s Avengers will be up for a free upgrade from PS4 and Xbox One to PS5 and Xbox Series X, when said versions arrive on those machines. Players will be able to carry over their save-games and progression, with cross-generation multiplayer within the same console family also being supported.
