You look back at the impact that Mortal Kombat has had over the years, and there’s so much to write about. The technical breakthroughs, pissing off overzealous parents and being the benchmark for reboots. More than that though, I’ll always remember Mortal Kombat for something else: It was the one game that helped the fighting genre find its spine. And then ripped it out.
He’s one of the most iconic fighting game villains of all time, a boneheaded conqueror of Outworld who first appeared in 1993’s Mortal Kombat 2 as the final threat and had every cheap trick in the book to throw at players. Signed by Chris Hemsworth, Michael Pena, Navid Negahban, Rob Riggle, Trevante Rhodes, Nicolai Fuglsig (Director) and Jerry Bruckheimer (Producer) it's a must for any movie fan that wants something touched by celebrity royalty! I'm rather excited about the upcoming movie, released on the 18th of January, as I not only think Hemsworth is a diverse actor but also enjoying war-time movies.
