The cosplay year, she is coming to an end. With San Diego Comic Con in the rearview mirror, Emerald Comic Con over and our very own Comic Con Africa high-fiving DragonCon on a job well done, there’s only one big name left on the costume circuit: New York Comic Con. This year’s event took place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in the Big Apple, and with over 200, 000 attendees present it was clear that convention fatigue had yet to set in.

New York Comic Con is a final push at greatness that draws in cosplayers from all manner of disciplines to shine bright on the stage and make new memories. This year’s cosplay was especially good, yet again.

This past weekend saw a host of exciting new trailers released from New York's Comic-Con event. Well, that's not all ,as there is a host of trailers that we didn't get to show you yet.

From DC Comics to Marvel, Aftershock to IDW and everyone else between a growing industry of consistent quality, comic books had a message to share and a story to tell. That message was one of hope, optimism and cataclysmic events shaking the very foundation of the respective universes of comic books. Here’s a quick round-up on some of the news that was making the rounds out of New York City, the Big Avocado.

There’s plenty of terrific stuff in the new trailer for Justice League, most of which seems dedicated to what I’d imagine is the third act of the film: There’s a conveniently abandoned Eastern-European City, the Parademons of Apocalypse have turned a nuclear reactor into a nesting ground and the Justice League is united for a final stand against SteppenWolf and his hordes. Still no Superman in action, which is the smartest marketing move by Warner Bros. so far I reckon.

Lionsgate released the first trailer for their upcoming feature film reboot of Power Rangers. And I’ll be damned if it doesn’t actually look pretty decent.
