You can happily skip past the "big releases" of this week and head straight to Bong Joon Ho's highly acclaimed black comedy horror Parasite. Everything else isn't really worth your time.

Last we had Roma make a big splash at award-season. This year it look like Parasite is the next foreign-language film set to dominate awards and dazzle audiences.

Parasite is the upcoming movie from Snowpiercer and Okja director Bong Joon-ho. It’s a genre-bending mix of dark comedy, drama, and thriller about a poor Korean family who, through a combination of good fortune and guile, manage to work their way into the good graces of a wealthy family. However their symbiotic existence takes a darker turn when someone new enters the picture and disrupts their fragile ecosystem.
