Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a return to form for the enjoyable platforming puzzler series, shifting back the perspective to 2.5D while delivering another stunning, satisfying experience.

The oft-rumoured, much hoped-for Red Dead Redemption 2 PC has officially been announced, and will be hitting the platform on November 5.

To say that last year’s announcement of Diablo: Immortal didn’t go over well would be somewhat of an understatement. The blowback the company received for daring to port one of most revered franchises to handhelds was frankly ludicrous – though it’s worth noting that most people didn’t have any issue with the idea of a mobile Diablo. Rather, they were angered by what they felt was Blizzard giving up on its primary platform, PC.

I think the last thing PC gamers wanted or needed was yet another publisher-specific game launcher, but here we are. While Rockstar has had their own quasi-launcher on PC for a while now by way of the Rockstar Social Club, they’ve now upgraded the whole thing to be a bona fide store where you can buy and launch games from the developer.

The RTX 2080 Super is a strong, fast performing card that will definitely be difficult to feel disappointed with. But with both the RTX 2070 Super and the RTX 2080 Ti so closely around it, it’s a tough sell on either end of the spectrum.

The RTX 2070 Super is the best choice in the RTX range right now, providing the best balance between performance and price and coming out at a time where Nvidia’s ray-tracing promise looks set to deliver.

For a long time, the PlayStation 4 has been Ubisoft’s biggest earner. It makes sense. As the leading console this generation, it stands to reason that most games, DLC and other digital purchases were via that platform. That’s changed! Ubisoft has reported a cracker start to their financial year, with the largest percentage of their income in the first quarter coming from PC gamers.

If there’s one other thing that tickled me though, it was the announcement of Game Pass for PC. Microsoft’s Game Pass is the existing service on console that allows subscribers to download and play any game from a library of hundreds of games. It’s exceptionally good value, especially because it comes with Microsoft’s first party games included on their date of release.
