You know the drill by now: As long as you have a valid PS Plus subscription, you’ll gain access to a handful of games. Some new! Some older!

In the battle for value, Sony might have just figured out how to get a leg-up when it comes to subscription services.

Sony has a trio of new games to hand from April 6, and provided that your PS Plus subscription is active, the bouncer to that club will be happy to let you in once he checks that your name is on the list. It’s actually an impressive month for the service, which has been stepping up recently to drop not just well-received games, but new ones as well.

Three seasons, a battle pass, a four-team based competitive mode, and plenty more content is on the horizon for Destruction AllStars.

According to the listing, this version of Final Fantasy VII Remake cannot be upgraded to the PS5 version, so you’ll still have to shell out if you want all those fancy next-gen extras on that console.

Destruction AllStars is both new and familiar, but it’s a refreshing collection of cars, modes, and madcap driving that shows great promise for the future. A mental destruction derby with some admittedly annoying quirks, there’s plenty of charm under the hood of this game that respects your time and smashes into the competition with a gung-ho attitude and some novel ideas.

Every once in a while though, PS Plus surprises with some chuffing great games being made available. February, is one of those months.
