Now this just goes to show you just can’t keep a good rumour down.. It is quite obvious that is Microsoft pretty keen on getting a huge title like Metal Gear Solid 4 onto the Xbox 360. MCV UK reports that Xbox Live boss John Schappert has said that he would "love to see the game come to 360" and the went on about the machines "horsepower". This comes after Yoshitaka Arai apparently told a Japanese paper that "The worldwide demand for an Xbox 360 version of MGS4 is quite high, and it is something we are currently looking in to.” I think that if Konami doesn't do it then they are fools. More after the jump. Why wouldn't Konami release it for Xbox 360, especially if Microsoft is actually right and the machine can handle the demands of the games engine. The way I see it, the exclusivity has done it's job. Many PS3's were sold and everyone at Sony is happy. So why not release the game to an entire market of gamers who want nothing more than to play the game. It makes perfect business sense and will almost literally double the sales of the game, if not more when they open it up to a new market. Exclusives are starting to get on my nerves. Look at Bioshock, it is now being released on PS3 a year after the Xbox 360 version and those developers and publishers can look forward to a huge amount of sales for a lot less effort than it would require to completely build another game.

You may remember that just yesterday, we reported that the EndWar demo was not going to be coming to the PS3. The reason? We still aren't sure but this is really getting my interest because I want to know why. Are we looking at a scenario where companies are actually starting to get paid to keep their demo's exclusive? Maybe what is happening is just a reaction from Ubisoft against all of the noise being made because of the exclusive demo. I am going to keep my eye on this one.

The time of the super gaming season is nearly upon us and LittleBigPlanet is one of the games that it leading the charge. This video is TV spot for LBP that has just gone up in the United States of Cheeseburgers (probably) and is looking fantastic as always. With a strong title like LBP leading the PS3 charge, Sony could very well look to gain a load of new customers.

Now I know that a lot of you are sick and tired of the whole video comparison story but as you may know, we have reported on this topic quite a lot in the past. The Eurogamer comparison tests have resulted in the Xbox 360 coming out on top in almost every comparison so far but I think that things may be different this time around. A comparison video has been put up on videogamer.com, showing the differences between the Xbox 360 and PS3 version and I personally feel that the PS3 one is definitely the better looking of the two. While clarity, textures and framerate seemed identical it looks a little washed on the Xbox 360 and whether or not this is due to the comparison setup is a mystery for now. If this video accurate however, the PS3 is the winner in my opinion. Am I going blind or do you think I am right? Leave your comments below. I usually wouldn't mind washed out looks but with a game that falls so heavily onto it's atmosphere, the more contrasted look of the PS3 version will definitely do much better to make me wet my pants.

This week we have been reporting on some of the new additions and features that are being added with the PS3 firmware version 2.50. The good news is that the Firmware update has officially gone live. That's right, you can go and get it right now, if you haven't done so already. Along with the ability to take screenshots in compatible games, we also know that support for Flash 9 has been added. So if you don't have it, go get it now!

Yet another upcoming title will not be getting a demo for the Playstation 3 and one has to wonder what in the hell is going on. The Xbox 360 demo went up yesterday on Xbox Live and was accompanied by the official statement from Ubisoft that says the following: "The demo, exclusively available for Xbox 360, is free and offered for download on Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360," Is this just a nice way of saying that they are a little behind with the PS3 version or is the demo actually being made exclusive on purpose? We are starting to see more and more of this happen and if you ask me, the publishers are just shooting themselves in the foot by not letting both sides try before they buy. That is of course, unless Microsoft is handing out wads of cash for this as well. It's just silly in my opinion and companies need to start making sure that they have demos available for both consoles and not only one.
