PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds might finally be on console, but the massive 100-player shooter is having a tough time running close to acceptable on any version of the Xbox One.

For what seems like forever, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS players have been stuck killing (or successfully hiding from) others on the same island. It’s become well-worn territory, with many players knowing every nook and cranny of Erangel. Naturally, the millions of people playing the game have been incredibly excited for the game’s upcoming desert-based map, Miramar.

Now that Tencent have secured the rights to PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS in China, it’s time to kick it into gear. Their first hurdle is making the game acceptable by Chinese standards – which means making it less violent – and then it’s on to bringing it to mobile.

This was the case with OGN, who built their own 100-seat studio, and now South Korean company AfreecaTV have announced their own league and are building a dedicated studio.
