The road to Wrestlemania officially kicked off last night, as the Royal Rumble was held at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. Here’s who won and who lost in the first big WWE event of 2019.

The road to Wrestlemania, begins here. Every year, the Royal Rumble serves as the opening salvo in the WWE, an event that sees championships defended and new challengers rise to stake their claim at glory. 30 men (and women!), all facing off in a battle royale to earn the most coveted price imaginable: A main event match at Wrestlemania, and a chance to shine at the showcase of the immortals.

Tables, ladders and chairs! OH MY! It’s the end of the year, and before the road to Wrestlemania can truly begin, it’s time for a December to dismember as both RAW and Smackdown LIVE look to settle a few feuds with a collection of matches that are extreme to say the least. Almost every championship is up for grabs, the main stage is going to look like a lumber massacre by the end of the night and somebody is getting planted through a table.
