Surprise! Grand Theft Auto V is a blockbuster! In news that should come as a shock to no one, Rockstar Games is still selling copies of their classic sandbox by the truckload. Back in May, it was reported that Grand Theft Auto V had crossed the 110 million copies sold mark, while a new quarterly fiscal report from Take Two Interactive has painted an even rosier picture for the game: Between May and November, that figure shot up to 115 million units sold.

Yesterday finally saw the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC. The game uses Rockstar’s own launcher, and will only be released on Steam next month. Unfortunately for would-be PC cowboys, the game hasn’t had the smoothest of launches. The first, and biggest problem is that the Rockstar launcher had a horrible habit of crashing on startup, preventing the game from event starting.

Folks, we have made it. Through the fire and flames (Which is a kickass Dragonforce track by the way), through the controversies and the glitches. You’ve weathered disappointments and lukewarm launches, you sat through the hype and the triumphs of a year that was nothing short of memorable. And here we are, brothers in video game arms who are ready for one last push. One final dab of that interactive hot sauce that we simply cannot get enough of.

Activision and Infinity Ward revealed the PC specs for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and – the size of the install notwithstanding – they’re not terrible. Rockstar has likewise revealed the sort of PC you’ll need for their rooting-tooting-goddamned-chore-of-a-game-with-a-bit-shooting cowboy simulator Red Dead Redemption 2, and...well, the specs for the game are surprisingly moderate.

The oft-rumoured, much hoped-for Red Dead Redemption 2 PC has officially been announced, and will be hitting the platform on November 5.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, Grand Theft Auto V has been this generation’s biggest seller in the US of A PlayStation market, for both physical and digital sales.

Which is great news for everyone, including me, so I can finally stop covering all of these rumours and just be done with it!
