Season two of Apex Legends is just a few days away, but a pair of debut trailers have leaked online early showing off all the cataclysmic changes coming to the hit battle royale game!

Season 1 of Apex Legends concluded last night. The second season of the breakout battle royale game is only set to kick off on 2 July though, and it appears that developer Respawn Entertainment is using the next few weeks to make some big changes to the location of their game. Changes like space dragons!

The gameplay loop of Respawn’s single player Star Wars game seems to focus much more on upgrades and unlocks than just platforming and combat.

One thing you won’t be seeing in Fallen Order? Legions of defeated Stormtroopers lying about the place, looking for lost limbs and swearing revenge on the Jedi who just robbed them of their ability to spit out sick licks on a guitar. While Star Wars films may be filled with dismemberment scenes a’plenty, Cal Kestis will leave his foes in one piece for the duration of the game. Most of the time, that is.

Respawn Entertainment is promising a new spin on how they’ll make a more elegant weapon from a more civilised age feel hefty, dangerous and powerful, as lightsaber combat is clearly a priority for the studio in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
