Mr Shifty – Teleporting and punching schwifty action

By Darryn Bonthuys

You know what’s a great game? Hotline Miami, a brutally difficult top-down experience which doesn’t hold back. You know what’s a great movie scene? That bit from X-Men 2 where Nightcrawler goes on a teleporting rampage throughout the White House. Wouldn’t it be cool if the two got together with one of the better stick-fighting scenes from Kung Fu Hustle and had a baby? Teen Titans: The Judas Contract keeps that momentum going.

Hideous to gawk at, yet somehow strangely mesmerising is an apt description for Drawn to Death. It’s also free right now on PlayStation 4, provided that you have a PS Plus membership that is up to date. Is it worth it then, even if you don’t have to technically shell out any cash for it, for this month at least? Here’s what the critics have to say so far about it:

Vikings: Wolves of Midgard Review – Solid but hardly surprising action

By Darryn Bonthuys

Is Vikings: Wolves of Midgard the kind of game that you can have a run at and finish in around the 12-15 hours it’ll take to finish its campaign? Absolutely. Just don’t expect it to be able to keep a grip on you once the end credits have thawed out.

Klipsch’s Reference X20i in-ear monitors offer exactly the sort of sound audiophiles crave; clear, crisp and without any bias. They sound amazing - but you’ll need deep pockets, as they don’t come cheap.

At roughly R700, the ASUS Strix Impact can be labelled an affordable mouse. What you don't see on the outside is a highly customizable piece of equipment ready to take your gaming to a new level.
