Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is the latest Star Wars game to come out of the licencing deal between Disney and the game publisher. Given the generally lacklustre games that we’ve seen make use of the licence to date, this one, from Titanfall and Apex Legends developer Respawn.

Hey! Need for Speed Heat is out, with EA giving the once revered, now mostly middling racing series another spin. I can’t really think of a single NFS game this generation that I’d point to as being a good game, with most of its thunder in the last few years having been thoroughly stolen by better games, Like Forza Horizon. Is this ne One, Heat, any good? Well, it seems it’s a bit mixed, but it looks like it’s better than the lootbox-laden Payback.

Sony has been on a winning streak with its first-party exclusives, knocking it out of the park with great games like Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War, and Marvel’s Spider-Man. They have a focus on both quality and quantity, so there’s a lot of pressure on Bend’s Days gone to deliver the same sort of impact. Unfortunately, it doesn’t, and critics have largely slammed the game for being repetitive, buggy and uninspired. It’s not a bad game, just not the sort of thing you’d expect from a first party one.
