Microsoft may have pulled the plug on Scalebound's development back in 2017, but Nintendo might just be ready to revive another Platinum game that has been in limbo, as rumours of the dragon RPG heading to the Switch console begin to heat up.

The big boss of Xbox Phil Spencer says that Microsoft will still be open to taking risks on big budget projects such as Scalebound in the future.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Scalebound was being cancelled. Its developers have now commented on the whole debacle.

Microsoft and Platinum Games have ceased all development on the new hack and slash exclusive, Scalebound.
