Project Cars 3 will definitely have a place for those wanting a quick and easy racing game with a ton of customisation, cars, tracks and challenges. However, for more seasoned racing fans, or anyone looking for something even remotely different to what we have seen hundreds of times before, you will definitely need to look elsewhere.

They say the third time’s the charm, and if anyone can prove that old adage true then it’s developer Slightly Mad Studios as they’ve just announced Project Cars 3 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Bandai Namco is once again the publishing steering wheel, with this year’s big sequel focusing on a retuned career mode that has been designed to cater to players from all over the world.

Codemasters is about to get even bigger as the studio behind F1 2019 and GRID just snapped up the talent behind Project Cars for a cool $30 million.

In a frank interview on a stream with SpotTheOzzie, Slightly Mad Studio’s Head Ian Bell related why there was no Need for Speed: Shift 3. He also let loose on EA, who he called “Corporate Monsters,” who he claims were nearly responsible for killing the company.

You just don’t get a brand more instantly recognisable than that mighty stallion emblazoned on the Ferrari badge. Red paint and an engine whine that sounds like a Capetonian chipping in on a topic? Classic stuff. Point is, if you’re going to have a racing game featuring the likes of Porsche, Lamborghini and Aston Martin, then you have to have team red represent. Ferarri will indeed be present in Project Cars 2, featuring ten of their signature vehicles. Here’s the full list of V8 beauties.
