What's happening with Days Gone? Nobody's saying anything, but it looks like this potential franchise is a done-in-one deal.
Surprise! Another game has announced that it’ll be hitting 4K 60FPS visuals on a next-gen console. I know, sit down, this is news that you definitely haven’t heard before. I’m oddly excited for this entry though which will be in “dynamic” 4K and up to 60FPS, as Days Gone has been on my radar for a while, but I’ve been too busy and broke to grab it since it released last year.

Sony Bend plans to keep the Days Gone train rolling with a brand new set of challenges in June. “‘Survival’ difficulty mode tests players by daring them to beat the story with increased difficulty settings, no fast travel or Survival Vision, and an immersive HUD that removes maps and indicators from the gameplay screen,” Bend Studio game director Jeff Ross wrote on the Sony Blog.
With around 40 hordes inside of Days Gone and each one of these viral mosh pits numbering between 50 to 500 ankle-biters each, they’re dangerous enough on their own. But seeing them actually roam about? Now that’s an interesting wrinkle.
