If you don’t mind the lower resolution and slightly less crisp visuals, then the Switch version is incredibly easy to recommend, especially as it gains portability. It’s a cracking port of one of the best remasters around. If you already own it on PS4 and don’t care for playing it on a handheld, then you can safely give it a skip.

Nintendo’s Switch has been hacked thanks to a fault in Nvidia’s Tegra X1 processor, and it’s not really something that can be patched out. That means that the Switch is open to homebrew, emulation and also piracy. That said, this isn’t going to be like the Wii or the DS, and Nintendo has actively implemented some strict anti-piracy measures. While it’ll be possible to pirate games, one Switch hacker has cautioned against doing so.

It’s official! The first deep dive into the world on the Nintendo Switch has a release date, and that date is November 16. Taking players back to the original Kanto region of Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow, players will once again have a chance to catch ‘em all…provided that they have some extra cash to spend. While Pokémon Let’s Go will have all 150 original Pokémon to trade between players, the first exclusive legendary for the game will be exclusive to the Pokeball accessory.
