Grinding Gear Games has announced that the original Path of Exile’s quarterly updates will not be affected following the announcement of a sequel.

Developer Nerve had their work cut out for them on the post-launch support of the two games that shaped an entire genre. That work has definitely been done, as Doom 1 and Doom 2 are running better than ever now thanks to a new patch.
