Following the failure of Paul Feig's 2016 Ghostbusters reboot, Sony is taking things back to where they began as the studio has tapped Jason Reitman, the two-time Oscar-nominated son of original Ghostbusters filmmaker Ivan Reitman, to direct/co-write a direct sequel to those 1980s classics.
