In our internal group chats, besides for divvying up who’s writing about what, we also tend to talk about movies in general, who’s seen what and the throwaway thoughts that we’re not going to publish. We’re all very different people, with different tastes, but most of the time we tend to agree with each other. Sometimes though, there comes a movie that one of us just can’t stand, even though the rest of us have raved about it.
If you must know, mine’s The Dark Knight. Thematically cluttered with too many plots, too much noise, it really felt like it had bitten off more than it could chew. And honestly, I thought that Heath Ledger’s performance was overrated. Other examples from our group have ranged from Inside Out, Lord of the Rings, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Memento, Skyfall, Frozen and Ant-Man. Heck, I’ve even got friends that really intensely disliked the new Star Wars movie.
So don’t be shy, let the hate flow through you and tell us what you really think about all the movies that everyone else can’t seem to shut up about.

I haven’t bothered watching The Hobbit movies because of how little I liked the last 2 LOTR movies.

Funnily I also don’t like the LOTR movies, but found the Hobbit trilogy to be more fun.

Natural Born Killers. I’ve watched it several times and only always come off hating it even more.

Oh. And Harry Potter. Stuff that. I watched the first 3 movies, and they’re rubbish. And don’t tell me “but it gets better after that” again. I watched THREE, it had 3 chances, that’s enough.

I won’t mention names, but the two staff members who didn’t like Memento and 2001 have officially been removed from my Christmas list.
