Where’s the PlayStation 5, or are we in for another repeat of the PlayStation 3 era that lasted a good couple of years longer than the regular hardware refresh cycle? Maybe not, because it sounds like the PlayStation 5 rumours are going to start picking up steam soon. That’s according to the sometimes accurate, sometimes not scoops of industry insider Marcus Sellers, who claims that developers are currently playing around with dev kits of the PlayStation 5 console.

Developer Bungie has in the past couple of months made some cha-cha-changes to its Crucible in Destiny 2. Changes that have essentially rolled the Crucible back to its original format, as 6v6 matches are on the way back. That’s not the only new but old change coming to Destiny 2 this year, as ye olde Iron Banner returns for another round. Or several. I’m really bad at it.

The Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy Remaster has been incredibly successful for Activision, particularly in regions that grew up on PlayStation. Of course, given how well Crash Bandicoot did, it wouldn’t take a rocket surgeon to guess that Activision would mine its existing legacy IP for all it’s worth.
