Another Broadway musical finds its way to the big screen and this time its a weight emotional drama called Dear Evan Hansen.

Confined by her agoraphobia, Anna Fox (Amy Adams) finds herself keeping tabs on the new family across the street through the windows of her NYC home. After witnessing a brutal crime, secrets begin to unravel and nothing and no one are what they seem.

Disney has made the big decision to release some of its anticipated big film projects to Disney+, including Raya and the Last Dragon (via Premier Access) and several live-action remakes like Pinnocchio.

J.D. Vance (Gabriel Basso), a former Marine from southern Ohio and current Yale Law student, is on the verge of landing his dream job when a family crisis forces him to return to the home he’s tried to forget. J.D. must navigate the complex dynamics of his Appalachian family, including his volatile relationship with his mother Bev (Amy Adams), who’s struggling with addiction. Fueled by memories of his grandmother Mamaw (Glenn Close), the resilient and whip-smart woman who raised him, J.D. comes to embrace his family’s indelible imprint on his own personal journey.

The Woman in the Window is a star-studded psychological crime thriller starring Amy Adams, Julianne Moore, Gary Oldman, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. An agoraphobic child psychologist befriends a neighbor across the street from her New York City brownstone, only to see her own life turned upside down when the woman disappears and she suspects foul play.

A stylistic, over-the-top and sometimes silly political satire, but one that remains thought-provoking and highly entertaining. Fantastic acting performances, some uncharacteristic direction and remarkable editing make this an incredible film worth viewing.

The last time Christian Bale teamed up with writer-director Adam McKay we got the utterly masterful Oscar-nominated The Big Short. Now the duo are back together again for another upcoming historical comedy-drama in Vice, which tells the untold story of how Dick Cheney rose up to become arguably the most powerful US Vice President in history.

HBO looks like they may have another hot property on their hands as the studio teams up with the always-reliable Amy Adams for a TV series based on the Sharp Objects novel by Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn.
