While it’s not unusual for people to have a small lapse in etiquette when it comes to mingling with cosplayers (think photography sniping and mishandling delicate props c’mon folks don’t be a Melvyn), there are those people who take things a step too far and start inappropriately touching cosplayers and try to grab dirty pictures using foot cameras. And then there are those people who clearly need some help.

Upcoming manga brawler Jump Force has a beta coming out soon, and it’s a pretty hefty one by the sound of things. From January 18-20, PS4 and Xbox One players can jam the open beta, which will be available during certain sessions.

The cult classic anime series that dealt with life, depression and gigantic nightmare fuel robots fighting extinction-level monsters is finally making a move into streaming territory, with Netflix grabbing the exclusive rights.

Here’s a stack of new screenshots showing off the potential of player avatars in Jump Force. Remember, it’s all fun and games until somebody loses an eye thanks to the spikiest of hair.

This week see’s two more characters added to the mix: Rurouni Kenshin’s titular reverse-katana wielder Himura Kenshin, alongside arch-nemesis and Universal Pictures Mummy cosplayer Shishio Makoto.

While Pacific Rim may not be able to find an audience on the big screen, it’s possibly far better suited to taking a page from one of its biggest inspirations to create an anime series instead.

Jump Force will power up on February 15, and it's adding even more faces to its roster in the form of City Hunter's Ryo and Fist of the North Star's Kenshiro. You're already dead.
