Destiny 2’s first expansion launches in early December. Called the Curse of Osiris, it focuses on a Guardian who has been referenced since the beginning of Destiny 2, a renegade back from exile and ready to draft in some new soldiers against his war with the Vex. Osiris may have only had a few seconds of screen-time in last night’s trailer, but that teaser still gave plenty of clues away as to what to expect when the expansion launches. Let’s have a look then.

Titans wore bulky suits of armour that made them the first and last line of defense against the darkness, Hunters stuck to lighter arrangements of heavy-duty fabrics and lightweight protection to give them an agile edge in combat and Warlocks proudly wore their scholarly pursuits upon their immaculate sleeves. To put it short, Guardians were stylin’ and profilin’ across the rings of Saturn and the red sands of Mars. In Destiny 2? That style has evolved even further.

Point is, is that Tony Stark has had a lot of armour over the years. That’s the point of the character in comic books and films: A futurist who always looks forward and never stops innovating, never settling for tradition or the past in his quest to go beyond the present. In the final livestream detailing the Age of Triumph for Destiny, Bungie detailed new changes to the sandbox and loot. So much loot, all of it shiny, new and updated. So let’s chat about that, because I still get a digital rush of blood to the head when I see some of those sexy designs land in my arsenal.

In the final days of Destiny the first, Bungie is going to make completing your collection a little bit easier. As was revealed in the livestream last night, new activities in the Age of Triumph event will reward players with Treasures of Ages, chests that fill in any gaps in your inventory. From Taken armour through to rare emojis, these treasure chests will contain anything and everything apparently.
