Some games gave you the option to be history’s greatest villain, while others actually rewarded you for being what the office calls a “Darryn”. They probably mean that in an endearing way. So here we go, here’s a bunch of times where being gad didn’t just feel good, it was actually worth the effort.
I’d almost forgotten that Patrice Désilets, creator of Assassin’s creed, was working on a new game. His studio, Panache Digital games was founded in 2014 and to date, they’ve not really released anything. The game they’re working on, called Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is billed as a “third person open world survival game that will bring players to Explore, Expand and Evolve to advance their clan to the next generation in the harsh, ruthless, yet beautiful land of Africa starting 10 million years ago.”

One company that isn’t ready to toss the towel in yet on loot boxes? Ubisoft, as the French publisher has seen its stock rise thanks to the microtransaction vehicle.
