With 2015’s gaming calendar now down for the count, it’s time to look ahead to the baldy future. Plenty of great games are on the horizon, one of which happens to be return of Agent 47.

Overwatch is taking a break. From December the 10th, Blizzard will be shutting down access to their shooter to work on some improvements. Don't worry, it'll be back - sometime in January.

DOOM is shaping up nicely so far, as the granddaddy of FPS games is starting to resemble a wonderfully gory and fast-paced experience. It’s still going to be many, many months before DOOM is released however. Although you could be lucky enough to get an alpha taste …

Right now, players were meant to experience an Extreme Home Makeover with shotguns, as Ubisoft’s upcoming home invasion shooter Rainbow Six: Siege was supposed to go live with an open beta test. And a week before launch, mind you. What could possibly go wrong? Lots apparently, as the buggered servers are currently denying access to players like a grouchy cat on your laptop.

If you're playing on PC, you can now update Fallout 4. Be warned though, the patch is in beta - so it could break more than it fixes.

In a game such as Fallout 4, bugs are inevitable. Naturally, some patches will be needed to fix the game up to scratch. And thankfully, PC gamers will be able to beta-test that patch for console players.

The current Overwatch beta isn’t exactly an open one, with admittance being stricter than entry into your local Freemason lodge . That’s going to change this weekend however, as Blizzard will be throwing more players at the game. And you won’t even have to do a silly handshake to get in.
