Don’t stress, Dragon Age 4 is still in development
Not that anyone really cares when Obsidian is out there teasing Avowed, but EA’s has to stay in the news somehow...right?

Anthem in its current state, exists as a dream that’s beautifully to look at painfully dull to experience. With few updates since launch, a back to basics approach that has left the most hardcore fans aggravated with the lack of communication from Bioware or EA and a world that has since been eclipsed by newer and older live service titles, you’d think that EA would pull the plug on Anthem and move on. That’s not happening.
An HD remaster of me accidentally killing Tali again when I choose between an army of nigh-unstoppable robot AI and a fleet of space hobos? I don’t know if I’m ready for that.
Now, some of you might be thinking, “It’s obviously Dragon Age,” but then why not just say that? It’s SUSPICIOUS.
A year later and Anthem currently exists as a prime example of how not to chase the bandwagon, with the game being made fun of yet again for leaving its Christmas decorations up long after Saint Nick had ignored it. Is there any hope for Anthem and can it be salvaged? Bioware certainly thinks so, as they’re planning a “longer-term redesign” for the looter shooter.
Anthem may not have much life in its bones currently, but over at Kotaku there was a spark of hope that the live service Iron Man simulator could actually be, and brace yourselves for this one, exciting.
There’s still plenty of good to celebrate when it comes to the franchise and Bioware is looking to do just that with Dragon Age day on December 4. Sorry, I meant Dragon 4ge Day.
The next game throwing its candy into the trick or treat bag? None other than Anthem, with a shock announcement that it has some new content to share. Kind of. Called Season of the Skulls, this event is described by Bioware as “a themed, season-long event that offers unique rewards and challenges for its duration”. So skins and other cosmetics, I guess.
