Borderlands 3 may only be out in September, but you can return to Pandora right now…Kind of. Over in Fortnite, a slice of the map has been transformed into a cel-shaded section of the infamous planet, complete with a few challenges that can net players some neat loot to unlock along the way even if you don’t own the season x Battle Pass.

While the established console base has the easiest of installs to activate, PC players will need to see if their rigs are worthy of Gearbox’s long in development threequel, as the developer has just officially revealed how many horses you’ll need to have under your hood to run Borderlands 3.

These days, getting your voice out to the masses is a walk in the park thanks to the virtual soapbox that streaming and video platforms provide. In Borderlands 3, that idea of establishing a viral following of loonies and psychopaths is being turned up to 11, as players won’t be facing a handsome corporate CEO but rather the tag team of murder streamers known as the Calypso Twins.

Gearbox dropped details on one of them yesterday, the Atlas Corporation stronghold known as Promethea where a certain fan favourite character from Telltale’s stab at a more narrative Borderlands adventure happens to currently reside. Between Far Cry: New Dawn and Rage 2, players have had plenty to choose from in terms of games that are like totes crazy. You can add Borderlands 3 to that list, as even with a few controversies behind centered on just one fella whose name rhymes with Candy Ditch Hoard, Borderlands 3 is still shaping up to look like a hell of a good time.

Look, all I’m saying is that in the circle of life, nature favours the fella with the best and biggest gun. Especially when nature throws acid-vomiting Skags, pesky Rakks and Threshers which want to rip your arms straight out of their sockets. Borderlands originale was an easy 10-hour game and triple that with its superb DLC, whereas Borderlands 2 gobbled up dozens of hours with a similar format, larger world and expansions threw fascinating new wrinkles into the game.
