Destiny 2 may be a shooter at heart with some RPG leanings, but within that game lies many a secret and treasure waiting to be discovered. 2’s a fab game, but beyond many quality of life improvements and an actual story to follow, players wanted something else: A reason to return and avoid going through the motions. Developer Bungie has been well aware of that potential weakness inside of Destiny 2, promising its fanbase that the next couple of years wouldn’t be a case of the social space gathering dust between the release of bigger expansions. At Twitchcon over the weekend, the team behind Destiny 2 outlined those plans.

Another emote expliot has forced Bungie to put its ultra-competative PvP mode, Trials of the Nine, on ice for the next two weeks.

Bungie pays tribute to Monty Python, fans use spare Bright Dust (or actual cash cha-ching baby) to get in on that affection and everyone is happy as they inappropriately bust out a silly walk. Or, and hear me out here, you can use that Silly Walk ™ for evil. Like glitching your Guardian into spaces where they really shouldn’t be.

Destiny 2’s multiplayer meta-game is still being explored, but if last week’s Iron Banner is anything to go by, then Uriel’s Gift is the most mainstream of machine guns that every serous Guardian is wielding right now. Tag team that with a MIDA Multi-Tool in your Kinetic slot, and you’ve got a setup that is perfect for any range of combat.
