Destiny finally found its groove around the time that the House of Wolves DLC arrived, with the Taken King expansion finally giving it the heavyweight punch it needed to stand tall with the big boys in the industry. Point is, mistakes were made. Mistakes that Bungie learnt a lot from, and that I’m hoping we won’t see in Destiny 2 later this year. Here’s the first proper trailer for the upcoming sequel, so that you can start judging for yourself.

Man, it really sucked to be a formerly deceased human who was resurrected by a sentient floating Dinklebot to fight back against the infinite hordes of the Fallen, Hive and Vex. Remember last week when that new poster leaked of a somewhat legit-looking Destiny 2? Well it was legit. Too legit to quit, as Bungie has officially confirmed that Destiny 2 is coming out this September.

Bungie’s second dive into their loot ‘n shooter kicks off later this year, but you’re probably going to have to wait until E3 to see the first taste of it in action. Or maybe you won’t, because somebody who is soon to be fired has managed to leak some promotional materials for the Destiny sequel that looks too legit to quit.

In the final livestream detailing the Age of Triumph for Destiny, Bungie detailed new changes to the sandbox and loot. So much loot, all of it shiny, new and updated. So let’s chat about that, because I still get a digital rush of blood to the head when I see some of those sexy designs land in my arsenal.

In the final days of Destiny the first, Bungie is going to make completing your collection a little bit easier. As was revealed in the livestream last night, new activities in the Age of Triumph event will reward players with Treasures of Ages, chests that fill in any gaps in your inventory. From Taken armour through to rare emojis, these treasure chests will contain anything and everything apparently.
