Back in the early 2000s though, there were plenty of Marvel games to be had. The first PlayStation had its own Spider-Man infestation, numerous X-Men games popped up, and we got the completely forgettable Marvel: Rise of the Imperfects fighting game. Amidst all of these licensed titles were plans for a Daredevil game, which would have arrived hot on the heels of the best incarnation of the man without fear, future Batman Ben Affleck. Bite me, I love that movie and the director’s cut reinforces just how great it is. Evanescence max Goth soundtrack and all.

Earlier rumours from this week suggested that developer 343 Industries may pass on a last-gen release of Halo Infinite, focusing entirely on Xbox Series X so as to get the best possible experience for the game done without having to worry about matching that content on older consoles. Those rumours, are absolutely rubbish.

A far cry (not that one) from the samurai sandbox epic that would eventually be released, Prophecy was more steampunk than a top hat decorated with cogs and goggles, was grim and and also served as a reminder that smoking could be hazardous to your health. It never saw the light of day…until now!
