After eight years of waiting, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out this week, 57 years ahead of schedule. Reviews have been mostly positive, praising the game’s bleak nature and incredible RPG mechanics while also taking note of its many, many bugs, but there’s a good time to be had. And a possible seizure procedure waiting in the wings as well.
Cyberpunk 2077 looks…okay on Xbox One X! It had all the visual hallmarks of this current generation of gaming, but it didn’t run so good and there were some noticeable frame-rate drops in the game which mostly ran at 30 frames per second. On the Xbox Series X, there’s a more stable game under the hood. It’s worth noting that this version running on the Xbox Series X is Cyberpunk 2077 without any console next-gen upgrades, so it’ll be interesting to see how the game evolves after those features are added.
Both of these events have been pushed back a few days in order to avoid drawing attention away from the ongoing protests in the United States. Now that E3 has been officially axed off the year’s gaming calendar, it’s been up to everyone else to figure out just how to spread the word around the hottest games that have yet …
