It's official! Sleep is for losers, so hop in losers we're going to go check out a bunch of video games. One of the big stops on this eternal road trip will be at the joint E3 showcase for Microsoft and Bethesda, as the greenest kids you know will be showing off their wares on June 13 10 am PT/1 pm ET/6 pm BST.

Largely regarded as one of the best raids in all of Destiny, the Vault of Glass will be making a comeback in Destiny on May 22. According to Bungie, players will need to be at power level 1300 or higher to be at the cap for every encounter, and Contest Mode will be enabled for the 24 hours. Like other Raid debuts, there'll be some sweet real-world loot up for grabs as well!

Rescheduled, retuned and ready to possibly rock and roll! It’s all hands on deck as the PlayStation 5 event kicks off on June 11 at 1PM PT/ 9PM BST. Which in good ol’ African and Central European Time, works out to 10PM.

In news that won’t shock anyone, EA Play is going digital this year, having booked a very E3ish date of June 11 for their digital event.

Next year, Cape Town will see some competition arrive on the scene in the shape of a dedicated Comic Con from Reed Exhibitions and ReedPOP. Dubbed Comic Con Cape Town, it’ll officially kick off next year at the Cape Town Stadium from May 1 to May 3. Who’s on the guest list so far? None other than Comic Con Africa’s standout favourite celebrity Ricky “American Gods” Whittle, as well as comic book cover artist Mark Brooks for starters.

One show a year may not be enough for Comic Con organisers ReedPop, as the weekend saw them announce that Cape Town will get its own version of the expo come 2020 at a date that puts them in direct competition with beloved annual event FanCon.

With the Festival of the Lost having wrapped up and the Season of the Forge having just begun, it’s time for Destiny 2 to get a bit more festive. The annual Dawning event returns this year on December 11, along with an old face: Shader maestro supreme, Eva Levante. This year, the quest is simple: Get some of those sweet sweet baking supplies that Eva needs, so that she can hand out Gjallardoodles and Chocolate Ship biscuits.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May return with season 3 of The Grand Tour on 18th January, only on Prime Video. In addition to Hammond once again risking one of his nine lives as he struggles to keep his Jeep on a tiny bridge over a steep canyon in Colombia, the three comrades taking on epic challenges in Detroit and Nevada, visits to Mongolia and China, Jeremy and Abbie attempting an unusual snowy challenge in Sweden, and James May playing the bag pipes in Scotland, along with a tour of the Stansted Airport.
