Players had discovered a puzzle in the form of an ornate symbol on Rasputin’s bunker wall in the latest Destiny 2 expansion, Warmind. What made it so special? The symbol was of a big lock surrounded by keys and symbols, so obviously something was up. Something involving real-world treasure.

Available to everyone, Destiny 2’s latest patch has resulted in scores of guns being rejiggered. Weapons such as MIDA Multi-Tool, Telesto, and Merciless seem to be fine the way they are, but by and large you’ll find that every other gun has that little somethin’ extra added to it.

Cosmetic gear won’t exactly be vanishing in Destiny 2 when the Warmind expansion kicks off the third season of the space sandbox. What will be changing however, is the manner in which players can earn some of that vanity gear.
