Marvel’s recent superhero flicks have run a wide gauntlet of varying heroes so far: Thief with a heart of gold and incredible shrinking powers, Led Zeppelin powered Thunder God flung across space and Tony Stark 2.0 wizard surgeon to name a few. Marvel’s next big film however? That’s Captain Marvel, a superhero adventure featuring something that the cinematic division of the house of ideas has never tried before: Giving the lead role to a woman.

Expectations for Volume 2 in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise are naturally higher than Groot’s special buds. Expectations which appear to have been met and surpassed according to early press screenings. It’s always worth taking a pinch of salt along for the ride, but aside from one lone dissenting voice it looks like those critics who got an early screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 were bowled over into hyperspace

This upcoming weekend is the Star Wars Celebration convention, and we're expecting some big reveals. And the first just got here a little early in the form of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.

Disney always saw their investment in the Star Wars property beyond just another trilogy. Just what there plans are though might be a little clearer following these rumours.

Over at CinemaCon, Disney decided to give the folks over in attendance a sneak peek at the fleek flick. And by sneak peak, I mean the entire movie. No vertical slices of hand-picked action. Reactions afterwards were fairly positive, with most people really really liking Johnny Depp’s performance this time around and Javier Bardem’s utterly creepy Capitan Salazar.

The Wreck-It Ralph sequel finally has a name. Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is heading our way! The terribly named Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is due for release in the US on 9 March 2018. What a silly name.
