Dragon Ball FighterZ is so good at that character design, that you probably haven’t even noticed the stages that you battle on. Stages which are lush, vibrant and reduced to ashes by the end of a bout. From the World Tournament arena to the broken ruins of a future ravaged by destruction, every battleground in Dragon Ball FighterZ is a glorious homage to the history of the franchise. There’s life in them there hills, especially in the Namek levels available to fight on.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting its first major patch soon. While it won’t include over 9000 balance changes to the roster, it will implement plenty of fixes to various bugs found within the game. It’s all small fixes, but when added up, it’s pretty substantial.
Too often the Dragon Ball FighterZ lobby system is a waiting game of dropped matches and uneven netcode. That will all hopefully be changing soon with the first major patch for the game, which will summon Shenron to address those connectivity issues. Or wish for Bulma’s underwear, because early Dragon Ball was weird as hell.
The Japanese Dragon Ball FighterZ website has revealed a first look at Bardock and Broly, as well as some truly awful translations thanks to Google Chrome. Here’s a breakdown of them.

Dragon Ball Super has pushed the idea of power to new limits, introducing the concept of godly Ki and the unrelenting might wielded by the Gods of Destruction. Power that doesn’t hold a candle to Goku’s ultimate form, as the Saiyan is about to go even further beyond in the final battle against Jiren in the Universe Survival saga.
Some fighters still rise above even gods of destruction and Super Saiyan gods, as the esports scene of Dragon Ball FighterZ begins to heat up. The most popular character so far for online play? Unsurprisingly, Dragon Ball’s poster boy Goku is currently dominating in the top ten. Except it’s not that Goku who has entered the domain of gods.
As of now, the Dragon Ball FighterZ locker room is pretty solid. It’s a nice roster that Arc System Works has got there. Real nice. It’d be a shame if someone were to data-mine the PC files for the game and reveal that more characters are on the way though, wouldn’t it? A right shame guv’na. Oops! Someone just did that.
